Well a lot has happened since my last post. I have made the decision to move south. I will be spending 3 months living with my daughter for the summer. This will put me close to her, my son and my grand daughter. In the fall the plan is to be a live in handler if all goes as planned. Then next spring the final move to Roanoke, Va. to live with my best friend of 16 + years.
I have found homes for all of my animals. Gemma, the puppy, has gone back to her breeder and my mushing mentor. She is also with some of her siblings in a mushing kennel. Luna, has gone to a friend that has 8 other huskies and is more of a recreational musher which is perfect for Luna's level of experience. Logan, is with some friends of mine that will love and spoil her very much. I am very grateful for all of these people that have offered to give homes to my furry babies. It was not easy and I broke down more than a few times in tears over it.
Now onto the next chapter of my life. I am very excited to be near my children once again. Even after I move to Roanoke I will only be 5 hours away from them.
So, this blog will be evolving as I transition here and there. Hope to keep you interested.
